There's a new baby in the family! My cousin Jolene and her husband Fré had a beautiful baby girl, Kayla, on Sept 3. This gave me the chance to whip out my baskets and fuzzy blankets and do some baby photos. Don't you just love her full head of hair??
Of course, I made sure to get some shots of the older kids. First, here's Evan. He's five and he loved having his picture taken. I couldn't have asked for a more cooperative model.

Hey TJ!
Wow, that first picture with the basket is unbelievable! Absolutely love it. Its pure CASH! Wow. Everytime I look at it I LOVE it! And I gotta hand it to ya - you are definitely more ontop of the props game than I am. I normally just scour through people's ornamental Easter stuff until I find a basket and blanket of their own. Now, let me ask, did you bring a new born with you for measurements when you went basket shopping?! Haha. Oh, and I love that 2nd picture of Evan on the LCD screen. Again, simply genius! Really, you need to promote yourself and get out there! You should be doing this full time!

haha. thanks Justin. It's easy to estimate the right basket size when you work with babies for your "real" job. Mind you, she was a bit too big for the other basket I brought along...

Good stuff, I loved the pic of evan taking a self portrait, great shot. Good job in the sleeping-baby-in-a-fuzzy-blanket shots too!
Love the first shot with her in the basket. Nice and clean, simple props, exactly the style I love for babies :) So when ARE you starting full time??? haha.
Simply Beautiful!!
You are Genius! Thanks for letting us get a sneak peek on Kayla - before she gets too big. And Sasha is getting prettier all the time!
That basket does wonders! Beautiful and clean! All that whiteness in the first shot makes for such a "pure" looking baby photo. Nailed it!
Eat your heart out Anne Geddes!
Also, is there a warming filter over that first photo of Evan? If so, I like it! It sort of looks like it, but if its the glorious natural light you're working with, even better!
