My Homework

I took a portraiture course back in April. Here's a few shots from some of the assignments I had to do. It was a great learning experience.

Here's Deirdre. I had to imitate photo from a magazine (which explains her white eyelashes and red lips). These two shots were my "spin" on the magazine photo:



Here's Jessica's shoot. These shots represent different design elements:

Beautiful! Love the bubble gum pic and the side lit picture of Josh (what type of light were you using??). Also those pics of Jessica are fantastic - you managed to get a really natural expressing, while still looking well composed (a compliment also to Jessica!). I look forward to more posts!

Josh's pics were taken in an abandoned train tunnel. Very cool location. I'm sure I'll be shooting there again.

My favorite is definitely the side lit of Josh. Great portrait of him! The graffiti really suits him as well :)
